Africa Transport Solutions (ATS) was established in 2004 and is the cornerstone of the ATS Group of Companies. The company’s day-to-day operations are still supervised by joint owners Jaco Conradie and Johnny Bosch who with their vast experience in transporting freight for the industrial and agricultural sectors, is well equipped and committed to delivering value, quality and personal attention.
Our fleet of 145 trucks is purposely selected and equipped to ensure the careful handling of our clients’ cargo. The ATS fleet includes tautliners and bottom dumpers. We have excellent preventative maintenance strategies in order to be proactive on maintenance on our equipment and our fleet is fully RTMS compliant.
In 2016 Africa Transport Solutions expanded its activities with the addition of a new division - ATS International. ATS International offers global freight forwarding with primary focus on Africa.
The ATS International team is headed by co-owner Jens Pain Risgaard who brings to the table more than 20 years of experience in freight solutions for Africa. Our international team allows us to offer our valued customers tailor-made transport solutions via air, road and sea. Based on our worldwide network of agents ATS International offers a truly global coverage
Our special focus on Africa with an extensive agents network enables us to handle customs clearances and inland deliveries to virtually any country or region in Africa.
We guarantee attention to detail, personalized service and a high level of communication - that's our DNA.
With Health, Safety & Environment being a top priority of ATS and an integral part of our business conduct, we realized that only by taking responsibility for our own training could we reach our high criteria in this area.
By 2016 we established Dunatara Training first with focus on internal training but have since extended this to external companies with requirements in this field.
Each program is of course carefully adjusted to the needs and requirements of each client. Dunatara is TETA registered.
By partnering with Jecsen Sibanyoni and Khozakhulu Freight Logistics it enabled us to offer our valued clients a high quality transport service at a level 2 BBBEE rating.
The KFL headquarters are found in Johannesburg from where the daily truck operations of the KFL fleet is controlled. Like ATS, the KFL fleet is fully fitted with 4 cameras on each truck with live feeds at any given time.
Jecsen Sibanyoni has vast experience in warehousing and distribution adding supply-chain offerings to the scope of services offered under the ATS umbrella.
